About me

A little about my work

In case you’re curious yes that is a squirrel with a Dorito up there^ it is my most prized shot ever.

My name is Ezra ”Amayas” and I’m a 22 year old a Visual Media Artist, and for me personally that entails mostly Photography and Videography. I work with sound design for my videos to create it’s own ambiance and really set the scene for what I’m shooting.

I specialize in photography solely because I started there 5 years ago. Only until recently have I really worked hard to build a business and take things seriously.

With my photography I’ve spent as much time as possible absorbing anything I can learn for Weddings! They have become such a fun part of my life, to go and see a couple share a special day like that makes everyone’s day more special.

I also love to do portrait photography, classic or colorful, everything always comes out looking amazing. I started my path with portrait photography, things like families, senior portraits, animals, I have tried everything to build the most diverse looking portfolio possible. If I say I can do everything then I need to have everything to show for it right?

Because of that mindset, I’ve been learning videography and been doing everything I possibly can to create visuals that tell a story. I am new to video and I want it to be known, I have a lot I am creating behind the scenes and it won’t see the light of day until it is perfect, trust.

As for client work I brought it into my weddings to start out. I do documentary style, which is just a fun word for staying out of the way and making things feel like a movie:) I like to capture peoples honest and realest moments, without the pressure of a camera up close to you, never without a prompt beforehand. And when the video gets watched again making sure you feel like you are living in that moment you’re seeing.

Soon I will be shooting for full length weddings, live concerts, music videos, and whatever else my work can compliment when I’m comfortable enough to take on more.

I’ve found that music and my style blend together the smoothest, so I started uploading on Instagram & Facebook not too long ago to show any of my artistic projects and less of my personal work. Keeping this in mind I haven’t uploaded too much except for short length montages of cool shots I get, but I will have short-films to show for it soon, and I’m really excited to show off what I’ve been creating. I’ve been testing the water in animation and VFX to really see what boundaries I have.

If you can bring me a project or style I haven’t tried before I’ll give you $10 off of the shoot, I’m always looking for a new perspective or something to learn.
